politics and world diplomacy are made mainly by the decision makers now in power. the power of the "people" is shown at voting times. this is spelled democracy and present times fall into that specific category. to be positive about "more troops" -- it is good for the moral of those already in the combat zone since new troops will be joining to relieve some of the fighting still going on...the war is going to end, hopefully, when politicians of good will on all sides of the equation give and take from their positions -- the Iraq-is have to re-learn to live as one community in a twin format --since they share one religion but different factions. the neighboring states Syria and Iran have to calm down their help and rhetoric and USA should make diplomacy work by direct or indirect means -- showing either the carrot or the stick as events unfold. hope it does help your legitimate concern.

Yes they are needed there if not how can you take a space and walk away and expect it not to be occupied again by the bad guy. With more troops there actually we will loose less of them. I have 2 sons there do you not realize how many hours at a stretch they are awake and fighting without rest. Let me tell you anywhere from 45 hours to 62 hours at a time. With more troops they can rest a bit more and be way more effective and cover each other better. Why don't you people talk what you know. They need to be able to take and control areas to get it under control.
Maybe you would rather hand Iraq over to Osama and hand him hungry people to do his bidding and for Osama to be able to recruit all those murders as his slaves.
Wow then we can loose more over here on home ground hmmmm where do you live maybe we can tell Al-Queda to attack there first.
I for one am glad our country is taking the battle to them in thier ground and not letting it come here. II for one support totally the troops and our country if you do not support them then why do you not move to Iraq and whine like those cowards there who bomb innocent people that are unarmed.

personally i think this whole thing is being blown out of the water. we dont need more troops in iraq. what they need to do is get them out and let iraqs people take care of it. we're not even part of the war. i think personally that bush is trying to kill us all. why would he sends more people to iraq for no reason? most of the people there are injured or dead. he is just trying to prove that amereica is better then any other country. well sorry to say this ( all the bush lovers better not read this) bush needs to get a clue. everyone is blaming this whole thing,war, on him. we need not to be there. and this crap will probably not end. bush has us dug in it to deep to get out.

Awwwww..don`t cry. Everything will be OK. Surely you aren`t one of those that wants to throw an entire nation away to the terrorist wolves...The Iraqi people want what you have. Freedom. Give them a fighting chance. Have faith in America while you`re at it.
