mom- grandma here well its that dumb thing called hormones we have been blessed with--this is very common when you are on your cycle and also midway about the 14th day--it seems anything can trigger a wrong emotion and boom there we go like you said either laughing or in tears now just think you will still have to give birth and have your hormones go bananas and then go thru your change and again they get all out of wack --hot n cold sweats so welcome to this crazy life

As long as you live you are going to go through this problem,to fight it at your age you might be 14 through 17 you will need to take 2 ibuprofen every 4 hours and make sure you keep a lot of liquid in your body.If you are over 21 and can drink buy a few coolers and drink 1 cooler slow as you listen to your music at home don't get drunk. You lay low with a full stomach of water and a little of food when you are at home.If you take water pills keep a lot of water in you, because if you don't it will feel like you are having a baby.

You may need to be on a mood stabilizer. Severe mood swings can be what is referred to PMDD (premenstrual dysphoric disorder) There are some meds you can take only when it is time for your period. Examples are Prozac or serafem. It is important to avoid smoking, caffeine, alcohol, chocolate and salt . If symptoms persist see your Doctor.

We all feel this way sometimes. Its perfectly normal. try vitaminb12 which you can get from the chemist and it can alleiviate symptoms of PMT. You need to take the supplement approx day 10 halfway through the cycle otherwise it wont work.

Try increasing the amount of Vitamin B you get (you may want to take a supplement). It will help stabilize your mood. Also you may want to try eating some dark chocolate. Dark chocolate has been shown to increase the amount of endorphins in a person's brain and the endorphins help to elevate mood.

i also get really grumpy and tired but sometimes just writing down why your mad or taking a nap can help. i know you can't sleep in school but when you get home lie down on the couch. i know all of this sounds really stupid but just try it...it works

See an ob/gyn or your regular physician. There are medications that can be prescribed for this.
