I have and my clothes were stiff and not fluffy.

You could hang them out on a nice warm windy day, they might not be so stiff then.
But seeing how it is winter, they are probably just frozen stiff.

yes, its called a clothes line. they've had them for centuries.

unless you put fabric softener in the wash cycle, that's what happens.
