That coppery smell is actually iron, and yes, there is plenty of iron in blood.

There is actually some copper in the human body, but I am pretty sure it isn't in blood, at least not in amounts significant enough to be smelled.

There is not enough copper in your blood to cause an odor or taste, but, of course there's plenty of iron.

no, blood smells like iron, because there is iron in it ... you are confusing your metal smells.

I dunno but it tastes kinda weird, kinda like slightly undercooked brocoli (brocoli has alot of iron, just like your blood)
