If you want to know about cleaning clothes, especially clothes that have sat around awhile, I am definitely an expert. I have a 5 year old child who's nickname is the human stain!

I have tried everything, but the best detergent hands down is Tide with Bleach Alternative. I know, I know, you can't use Bleach on colored clothes. Well, Bleach Alternative you can.

For stains, you can use stain stick or simply put a little Tide and water and rub gently. Rub gently or you will end up with the lighter colored spot on your clothes.

Best way to do laundry is have someone else do it.
But that does get expensive!

Good luck!

Arm & Hammer is biodegradable: Powder.

With Tide, you need both orange for warm water washing, and blue for cold water washing: Liquid.

For handwashing of clothing use anything that is similar to Woolite.

I use All in the winter when the kids are not getting their clothes so dirty and Tide in the summer to get out all the dirt and grass stains :)

Enhance whatever detergent you use with a product called OxyClean (powder form). It can be purchased at Costco, Sam's Club, or on the Internet.
