Whats happening, why was there a big break between episode 6 and 7? and when is it back on in America and the UK?

the first 2 seasons they would play a two or three episodes and then they would play a bunch of repeats... a lot of people complained about this...
SO this season, they decided to cut out the repeats and just play the episodes straight through with a big break in the middle of the season...

Feb 7th...this season has been lame, though. The Others have Jack, Kate, and Sawyer kidnapped, and the entire batch of episodes has pretty much been Kate and Sawyer in the polar bear cages alternately making out and fighting with each other.
And what's worse, they killed off Eko!!

in the us, it's back on in february. don't know about the uk. i think the reason for the break is either because of scheduling problems and time constraints or because taye diggs is an egotistical jerk.

you know what i really liked the first season but this year they drag everything out and im kind of growing tired of it. here in america i think its coming back later this month.
