I used to view my bank accounts using iexplorer when I had a PC as firefox wouldn't show the security pop up. Now I am having the same problem with safari. Is there another browser I can use that won't do this? Iexplorer is no longer available for mac.

Are you running Firefox 2? that might help your problem.

Just one of the downside of the crapintosh.

If you have popup blocking turned on in either Firefox or Safari, turn them off or allow popups from your bank. If that doesn't work, you could try spoofing the user agent string so that your bank's site thinks you're using IE (the site is not guaranteed to work in these circumstances, but it might). If both of those fail, Mac IE is still available from evolt.org.

Failing that, complain to your bank. Not supporting Firefox or Macs generally is pretty poor form these days, and banks should expect to lose customers because of it. I left the Woolwich purely because after several years they still hadn't managed to make their site work properly in anything other than IE.

If you are registered for online services then I would suggest you are not entering in the correct details for your account. I think you should pop into your nearest branch and they will square it up for you.
Bookmarks are carried over by all browsers so I can't see Firefox being a problem because it's more stable and faster than IE.
Macs don't like the inferior IE so ditch it.

Maybe you need to call your bank for to know if you need some plug in, becouse the lenguage that be used on the web page that they build have special configurations, and sometimes is so difdicult to know that and will be easy if they say you if you need some plugin or some special update for to search at the net.
