they were hardly in the game vs the chargers..faulk got must of the playing time...where were they?

Chargers were shutting down the run early and often. Faulk is the passing back, as he picks up blitzes well and is a good receiving back as well. The Patriots threw the ball so many times that they weren't fooloing anybody. If you aren't going to go play-action, you may as well have Faulk in there.

They were there, just ineffective.

San Diego has a top flight run defense, so the Hooded One used Faulk as both decoy, and carrying the rock more than he normally would. Faulk is also arguably their best pass catching back.

I'm sure the Colts will see a steady dose of those two... I'm not buying the suddenly resurgent Colt defense against the run.

well faulk is the playoff-man for the pats

pats need faulk for the BIG games dude

though dillon and maroney are a bit behind

the plan was to attack the Chargers via the air and that what they did, evidenced by the TDs Brady threw. the Maroney and Dillon combo will resurface against the Colts
