Because we live in a democracy. If citizens have the right to vote, then it's in the nation's best interest for those citizens to be educated.

Just watch the news or even the show "Cops" There aren't too many educated people showing up on either of those shows. If you do don't find my answer to your question in this text than maybe we will see you soon. No offense intended.
