Why do people think mexicans fight too much?

i don't think mexicans fight any more than any other race.

I don't think people think Mexicans fight too much. The stereotype I've encountered way more about Mexicans fighting is that they always resort to knives. I've probably perpuated this stereotype a bit by telling my friends "Don't mess with me, I'm Mexican and I'll shank ya!" Maybe we're just to hot-blooded for our own good? laterz

same reason why they think blacks are criminals and asians can't drive and jews are cheap and native americans are drunks - because they watch t.v. which is run by people who have a lot of interest in keeping those stereotypes going, like suppressing political action, not legalizing immigrants who obviously serve a need, keeping people in prison in order that money can be made, keeping a war on drugs going to support that, etc..

also, because people don't really want to know what leads to people's actions, they just want to be in a position where they can judge others and think they are better.

in general - people are too afraid adn lazy to really think for themselves so they let others tell them what to think, and so those people who are in charge have total control.
