obviously neither of you have looked at the new latley. theres been a huge ice storm here and they're out tomorrow already...thats why..just wondering and to the first answerer, this is a question so you can answer me if you know...therefore, responding with 'how would we know' is a little lame.

I can say with 100% certainty that public schools in NE Oklahoma will close on Wednesday. My guess is probably about 3:00 in the afternoon, though local schools may close earlier or later. Watch out for a rapid exodus of students, many in large public transportation vehicles, followed by teachers and administrators.

That's a joke - I have no idea. What's special about Wednesday? Another holiday? Why not call the local school administrative offices? I'm sure they'll at least have a recording.

Well it's 70 degrees in DC and we are still waiting for winter. The forsythia are blooming. Scary. We will have school.

How are we supposed to know? My best bet is to look in the school board website or do some reasearch on schools on your local area.
