I've always thought that gangs having and fighting over colors were very Queer Eye for the Straight Guyish. Besides, eventually any violent gang's color becomes red.

The colors are blue, black and silver ( the black and silver coming from the fact they barrow the "Raiders" NFL logo and colors as their gang symbol and colors) silver is often represnted in gray.

Gangsters (or "gangstas", or whatever) are complete wastes of life and the country would be better off if they were rounded up and put on an island someplace, where they would follow their instinctive need to kill one another into extinction.
Everything associated with gangs - rap music, bad grammar, goofy clothes, etc., epitomize everything that is wrong with society.
