Girl those are just stereotypes. Not all black women are loud, obnoxious, or ugly. That's like saying all hispanic women are b*tchy and have ten kids, and all white women are too meek and timid to stand up for themselves. Black women are just as beautiful as any other group in the world, and there are plenty of men out there that love them. Don't let the opinion of a few ignorant people on this site or anywhere else get you down. Apparently you're far more educated now then those people will ever be. Be proud of who you are.

I think the general consensus is influenced by society's expectations of a woman. Sleek facial features and extremely slender to the point of being gangly are what is expected today. Every culture has its share of beauties & horrors. Black woman for the most part are more rude & loud and that alone makes them ugly before you get to physical features. I think behavior is an outcome of your experiences. I think they almost have to be like that cause most black men are too forward and often permiscuse. Obviously not all black woman are this way, but stereotypes are created for a reason because they are the majority of that minority. I have met my share of loud mouth annoying *ss fat white woman as well!

Then you are rare. I think that alot of black women have had to fight for every inch in life you know, when I say every inch I mean respect from the fam, respect from the man, keeping the lights on, healthcare for the baby just constantly having to fight for what would be consider common things.
So when she goes out and someone gives simple instruction like you can't stand here or we need to to put this or that down. Attitude flares up, and it becomes a scene. I find that type of woman irratating. This doens't pertain to just black women but alot that I've met have acted this way it's just not my thing. So when i meet a black/or any race of a girl and I detect that type of attitude I'm gone I don't need that kind of stress. But one reason doens't cover it all thats just an obvious one.

"There are no ugly people. all people are beautiful". It sounds plastic but it is in fact true.
Ugliness truly comes with attitude and ideal. Ugliness is taught by societies, cultures and is not a part of nature.
Judging the human form is trained into people.
As you grow and reach dating age you see people that are attractive to you. You look for the traits and appearance you want in someone else. Race shouldn't matter but society interferes, size should not matter but society interferes. What truly matters is what you choose as qualities and beauty in another person.
Anyone that says someone else is physically ugly has an ugly attitude. Anyone that says a race of people is ugly or generalizes that they are loud or obnoxious, has those traits in themselves.
En Tis Blethec.

I'm a black girl and I know what you mean. All the ghetto black girls at my school I leave them hanging, im NOT friends with them. It's because I cant stand hearing yelling and screaming, i'm a quiet shy black girl which many people think is hard to find. I have never fought anyone or I dont walk down the halls in school with my butt hanging out in jeans yelling "HEY GIRL COME OVA HURR". So many white boys have looked at me as their friend and some have come to get a little crush on me. I can tell. But I can also see how some white boys just cant stand obnoxius black girls. So even though I dont feel good talking about the girls in my race, I need to get away from that stereotype. And I admit-I'm that shy quiet black girl with about 10 friends, maybe more. Who wants to be a chef and live a happy life with her black/white/hispanic/indian/asian husband and kids. People who have problems with that, need to deal with it.

I think that's a considerate question to ask. I like to ask and wonder about what other people think about many things, especially if I think they have something to do with me.
I'm probably not the best white guy to answer this, because for one, I'm considered short, especially by a lot of black guys. And two, I'm fairly reserved, even for a white dude. Only a few beers can bring me out of it a little. Okay, some music helps...lol But I'll give it a shot anyway.
Normally I'm not very attracted to most black girls, mostly because of what you mentioned. Some of them seem very loud, overtly outgoing, almost manly compared to lil ole' me..hehe However, I have seen a few black chicks that I really liked. The ones that were sweet, didn't talk real loud, and seemed to be real openminded. In other words, they seemed to look at me as just another guy, not 'some white dude'.
But at any rate, good question, and good luck!

I feel you, I'm a 20 year old well education, respectful young Black woman and I feel like a lot people have that stereotype of all Black women. I feel as though it's a combination of the media and a person's reality. People don't look at Black girls or people as individuals, if one of us has a bad attitude or is unattractive all of us are in their eyes. Personally, I always get asked "are you mixed" by White guys and some Black guys not because I'm light skin but because they considered me to be attractive. I'm not mixed but some just can't believe that a Black girl can attractive without having Caucasian genes. In most people's eyes Black women can't be intelligent, attractive, strong yet respectful and have a great attitude. But regardless of what people think you have to continue to be yourself.

This is an unfortunate stereotype perpetuated by popular culture. The truth is that beauty is a relative thing. While some may find certain characteristics attractive others may not. Its all about preferences. I personally dont limit beauty to race and sterotypes and find that im attracted to lots of women regardless of race, or ethnicity. Some of the worlds most beautiful women are black...Halle Berry doesnt conform to that stereotype of what black women should be like and she is quite possibly the most attractive woman on the planet...

I am white/asian and my school has about 50% black people. There are some black girls that can be really obnoxious, loud and horrible to be around. Not all of the black firls are like this, but none of the white girls are like this either. I think this attitude may come from reckless attitude from movies like Madea's and that movie about the midget who acts like a baby.
As for the ugly part, people find that when using insults for people, ugly comes naturally since so many people wish to be beautiful. People also consider the way others act as ugly.
Even though we live where all colors are free, racial discrimination is about us. I am upset too, because none of this really fair.
