You know, you remind me when I was younger and all the stuff I'd put on my face to try and look like the models in the magazines. It's such a scam. They show the pictures of these girls with all these layers and layers of color and the whole point is to sell the products for someone else to become rich. Makeup should be used to enhance what you have, not to scream the colors on the face. We are not clowns. A strategic stroke of purple could look awesome, but don't just slap it on. Guys actually like faces that appear naturally beautiful but they don't like the obvious. They don't want to go out with a tube of eyeshadow. They're looking for the girl underneath! There is a way to apply anything on your face with artistry not fakery. There's a big difference! Always step back and ask yourself if you really look better or not. Makeup can often hide your beauty, rather than make it better. Be intelligent with it. The makeup is not the attraction for a guy, it's your total beauty, inside and out. I know there are some girls that go for the extreme. It's your choice the image you want to project. But make sure it matches who you really are inside!

If you are going to wear purple eyeshadow, use a very light color. Put a beige color first then the purple.

purple is really too much for it. Generally, i think that with purple eyeshadow you should go only on haloowen party!!!

No, not if you don't overdo it.
And if you are wearing purple DO NOT wear purple eyeshadow.
Do not ever match your eyeshadow to your outfit. If you do, you'll look like a walking purple freak.
Make it a soft shade of purple, cute and feminine!

No If u like they'll love it be confident and just dont over do it dont wear too much purple or too much eye shadow. Dont wear dark purple it'll look like a bruise. I would use a lavender

no...I think bold is awesome! Be sure to blend it well. I love wearing bright eyeshadows- blue, pink, purple and green, and I can't tell you how many other girls compliment that alone. They are always asking how to do it. Don't be afraid to be bold.

Try it on, look in the mirror. Does it look good? Does it stand out? If you notice your eyeshadow before anything else, than it is definantely too much.

my boy thought he would be cute and wear some of that crap and they ganged up on him and stomped his butt in the ground. and when he finally got home, i also stomped his butt in the ground. so beware of purple eye shadows. you might just get real purple eyes and a few missing teeth. we don't need that kind of crazy stuffy.

i wore it. back in august on the first day and still do=]
get like a sheer lavender that shimmers.
then just apply it to the lid
it shud look very cute.
