had to actually go do something else boring like cleaning because the darn cable went out & the internet with it? umm ok maybe that is just me....Did I miss any good questions?????

Yes I have before and I hate that. I went once a week without PC and power because of a ice storm. I'm still mad about it.

I grab the rabbit ears and put them on the TV to try and watch something on TV while I am on the telephone ON HOLD...trying to get my cable fixed
and you know your on the telephone for at least an hour to do this...

Yes. Last Wednesday Dragon actually had to work cuz the DSL router went koo-koo at work and stopped working. All morning, Dragon had to do actual work!!!! It was awful.

Not lately my neighbours have broadband too, so I just go out and sit by the back fence and log in to their wireless network if mine fails.
That'll teach em not to lock it :)
