Do you like to be babysat? Don't do this to yourself. You're a grown woman and you have rights!!! If he want's to control everything, give him the remote. Stand up for youself. Don't let him put you down. You deserve respect and that's not what you're getting from him. If he doesn't change his ways - leave him and find someone who will gladly Help You move furniture around. Good Luck.

No. That isn't normal. I have been married 15 years and my wife has complete control of the checking account and pays bills, etc. My paycheck is direct deposit and she know all I make, etc. I do care how the dishes are loaded since most men think like engineers, ie; how to best load to get the most in there for one load, etc. but frankly if my wife does the dishes I don't care how she does it!

Not normal. Most men don't care about dishes or furniture. Money, yes. Marriage should be a partnership.

No it is not normal. It sounds like a slight obsessive-compulsive disorder.

No, that's not normal behavior. He needs to seek help. If he won't, get out now before he drags you down too.
