patriots vs saints

This year's Super Bowl matchup is going to be the Indianapolis Colts vs. the New Orleans Saints.

Indianapolis will go to the big game because:

1) Great offense - Peyton Manning, Joseph Addai, Marvin Harrison, Reggie Wayne and Dallas Clark form a Pro-Bowl nucleus, and considering that the AFC Championship Game is being played in Indy, the Colts will be able to implement their vaunted pass offense.

2) Reformed defense - Ever since Bob Sanders came back from injury, Indy's defense has been on a roll. They have only allowed 14 points in two playoff games, and just 1 touchdown combined. Their defense wants to prove people wrong and that attitude will continue against the Patriots.

3) Intangibles - Fans want to see the Colts win. The Patriots have gone to the Super Bowl too many times, and now it's the Colts' turn. Also, the game is being played in the RCA Dome, another factor in the Colts advantage.

Why the Saints will get in:

1) Offense - Drew Brees, Deuce, Bush and Colston form an offense as potent as the Colts. They can almost run any offensive play, and that will work against a declining Bears defense.

2) Solid defense - This defense does give up some big plays, but they cover the dinkers as good as anyone. Their defense will be strong enough against a weak Chicago offense.

3) Intangibles - The Saints have the fire and motivation to go out and win the Super Bowl after Hurricane Katrina. And they will.

So, Colts vs. Saints in the Super Bowl.

Here is the same thing I am writing on all of these same 'who will win' boards:

Saints vs Pats.

Pats are on a roll, and Peyton always self destructs in the playoffs (As he has DONE THIS SEASON TOO, lucky for him his defense is stepping up).

Bears and Saints - could be either one, but I don't see Rex Grossman having 2 good back to back games.. he just is too inexperienced of a QB and is playing awful. What was in QB rating 2 weeks ago? 0!!!!!!!!!

Not to mention the once formidable Bears D is missing several of their key players... and they are facing the best offense in the entire league right now.. So I'll go with the saints.

Who will take it all? guess it depends on if the saints D steps up, if so, the sants. If not, the patriots by far.

Colts and Bears because I think the Colts will beat the Patriots with a Vinaterri field goal and the Bears will win because Reggie Bush will fumble it trying to do one of his fancy moves and the Bears will score off of it. The Colts will win the super bowl.

I think that the saints are for sure going to the supebowl because they have the motivation...after katrina they had a 3-13 season i believe...now they are so close to the game they can see it and there's no stopping them now...The entire city of new orleans is rooting for there team to bring them out of the slump...

Also i think that the Patriots are going to the superbowl because well..they always do...they've won so many these past couple of years...but i'm so sick of them winning all the time and i hope that the saints win. It would be really great for them and the city.

Saints vs. Patriots
Saints have the emotional advantage. They have something to prove. The Patriots will easily win over a Colts team that always struggles in the playoffs.

i think saints and colts.
bears barely beat seattle and gave up over 100 yrds to alexander. i think bush and deuce will be able to run against the bears.
pats should have lost, they were lucky the chargers killed themselves. brady threw 3 picks and didnt look that good out there. the colts' D has been good so far and so i think the colts take this one.

Saints because of their balanced attack with Brees and the two running backs.

The Patriots because of their defense and Brady. A lethal combination.
