I think nudity is WONDERFUL. Especially when women are involved.
I see no problem with public nudity, per se. The only problem is the other people around. If the local culture does not accept nudity, and you could reasonably expect a real backlash if you were to, say, walk through the park naked, then you shouldn't.
If it were deemed acceptable, would I? Maybe, if I had a reason to. Most of us were raised to dress before going outside, and not let others see our naughty bits. I would definately be outside my comfort zone, but that's not a bad thing.
As far as private nudity is concerned, I walk around my apartment naked fairly often. Why bother putting on clothes?

I think that nudity is nautral and like other things in the world can be used as an art subject. If nudity were allowed I can't say I'd go out in public nude because the high here today is about minus 5 degrees farenheit, but there are other reasons (mainly professional) that I wouldn't do it. As far as in my own house, it generally depends on the temperature and what's comfortable, but I am more of the bathrobe type.

My view on nudity is that whatever you've got going on down there, it's no different than what half the population has and so it's a bit pointless trying to cover it up.
If nudity were legal in public, I might go out naked (of course depending on the weather, too). I'd be more likely to just go out in underpants. I simply don't like the feel of testicles banging about between my legs. I like the support. But the rest of the clothing? It's just drag (unless it's keeping me warm) and can just go. One of the best experiences of my life was wandering around a park in a thong. So freeing.
I mainly just don't understand what the -problem- with nudity is. Most of the objections seem to come from Christians (or at least around here, where it seems that everyone is a Christian). To them: God created us, yes? He created us in his own image. He said "it was good." What's the problem, then? He wouldn't have made our very nature obscene.

The nude body is the most natural thing in the world. Unfortuantely our culture has forced people to cover themselves up. For most people they only time they experience nudity is durring sex, so they equate the two, but they are really two totally different things.
I'm a nudist and I have been nude in public (on a nude beach). If general public nudity were commonplace then I'd probably go out nude sometimes--depending on what I was doing, what the weather was like, and all of that.

If nudity were legal, I still wouldn't display myself. But, I think nudity in art is a non-issue; did people complain about all the naked people on the ceiling of the Sistene, however it's spelled? Sure, people who post nude artwork on the internet ARE usually the strange ones, and anything labeled "porn" is only for certain purposes. But, nudity is okay if it's tasteful, i.e. Rose on Titanic.
That's my view, and my best version of an explanation.

Naked people just being naked to me isn't sexy, while in Cancun my ex-girlfriend and I walked onto a nude beach...not sexy. In order to be sexy something sexual must be occuring. Example: a nude girl can be beautiful, but take that nude girl bent over while looking over her shoulder with bedroom eyes and suddenly she's not art but sex. I have no problem with nudity in art, a naked body is a naked body. Someone can be just as sexy naked as clothed, again it's a matter of perception and what the person is trying to convey. At home I don't wear clothes my girlfriend finds this amusing as I'm not ashamed of my nakedness despite the fact that I should be. So to answer your second question, yes I probably would (weather permitting).

It depends on the intention of the nudity if it's 'perverted' or not and if the nudity is done in a way that is not harmful to the nudist or those around them.
Would I be nude in public if it was legal? At the beach where it is warm - maybe. Otherwise - I like my clothes!

Nudity by itself is neither positive or negative, it's simply the state of being without clothes. I absolutely love being naked in appropriate places, such as a nude beach (where I go often), friends' pools, saunas and hot tubs, or just lying on my parents' deck or on a lounge in the yard on a warm summer day.
So yes, I'd go nude in many more places if it were both legal and acceptable.
Nudity, however, can be negative if used for harmful purposes, such as exposing yourself to children or in situations where people have no expectation of encountering a naked person.
I'd like to see simple, non-sexual nudity become more accepted in our society, so that more of us can enjoy this awesome pleasure.
Bare hugs...
