is the gas and which is the brake. i have come to the conclusion that forgetting this important information is both stupid and dangerous. have you ever forgotten this... or am i the first? have you forgotten something even more important.... what was it if there is one.

Assuming that gas can also be called the accelerator, remember that it goes 'A,B,C', from left to right (Accelerator, Brake, Clutch).

I was sitting in my drive way and I put the car into reverse but I had my foot on the brake while I was trying to find a radio station and I let my foot off the break to let the car roll down the drive way to see if anyone was coming but instead of stepping on the break to stop I stepped on the gas and ended up rolling over my neighbor's grass across the street. Thank God they weren't home.

Remember your ABC - Accelerator, Brake, Clutch, in that order. Right to left in British carsprobably left to right in American cars The clutch is always nearest to the gearstick.

And you admit this. I think you should change your hair colour to blonde!! only joking.
I did a parachute jump once, it wouldn't do to foget to check the parachute was there, because you could kill youself.
Same is true in your car. All joking aside, you could kill yourself or even worse somebody else wo was blameless.

no i didn't forget but my sister did and ran our dads car into the mailbox across the road from our house. i have forgotten to take pills when they are prescription pills for me that's pretty dangerous.

when i first started learning how to drive... i confused both of them once or twice cause i was so nervious... but i learned them rapidly because this information is so important!!! so, no you're not the only one and i think is just stuff that happens... is mostly normal.

STALBANS-dont know what sort of car you drive but mine goes accelerator brake clutch from right to left, not t`other way round

I crashed into a fence before, it was the funniest thing!! I pressed the gas instaed of the break. It was ok, it was my ex boyfriends truck!!!
