I mean look at all the stores carrying a 00. What kind of country do we live in. I mean VERY few women are THAT tiny. I'm sorry, but i see wayyy more overweight people, including myself. Stores dont have a problem accomadating size double zero clothes but theres a problem making a size 12+. I'm not telling those trendy stores to make a size 30 or something but im asking them to offer a couple big sizes. If i owned a company and if the customers wanted up to a size 18 for example i would make them. But over size 20/22 i wouldnt wanna make. that would cloud the image. BUT, as we all see, every other person walking in the mall is OVERWEIGHT ca-ching ca-ching *R-E-A-L-I-T-Y*. We all know 9 yr old playground children wear a double zero but not your average american woman/teen. I'm sick of this FAT/DIET industry. I'm not gonna be one of their zombies. I just have curvy genes and even though i am overweight and i need to lose weight i will NEVER be a size 4. Its just not my body.

Well I know exactly where you are coming from. I'm a size 18, but I was a 28 and I couldn't find a thing to wear. Now, I shop at Lane Bryant and I LOVE it! They even carry 7 Jeans, which look awesome on me! (I'm sure you too!) Also, many of the larger department stores carry larger size clothing that actually looks nice. I would try Macy's, Dillard's, or Sax for nice full size figure clothes. Work those curves girl!!! Good Luck! : )

National statistics but the average american woman at 5'5" and 140 lbs while the average american model is 5'11" and 117 lbs, thinner than 98% of the female population.

In short, the fashion industry is oblivious and perpetrates what they deem normal rather than what is appropriate. As they said in The Devil Wears Prada - "Size 2 is the new size 4 and size 0 is the new size 2"

I agree, i work at abercrombie and we only carry up to size 12! ITS CRAZY, because the ridgid ones run small in the first place. its just not fair to people. I'm on the tiny side (0/2) but i havent always been this size. i remember how hard it was to find jeans in a 13, it was impossible. and very heartbreaking to a 13 year old that couldnt fit into cute jeans! i know delias carrys bigger sizes, as well as alloy in MANY inseams. but i knoww hat you mean, america is growing, and stores are not catering.

AMEN TO THAT ONE!! I hate all of the girls in the stores I go into who complain that a zero is too big......I wanna go over there and shove an entire bag of Cooler Ranch Doritos down their throats!! I've got an @$$, unlike most of the girls I deal with all day, and it's hard to find jeans that fit really well, that look good, too. I know that I shouldn't complain because I'm in a size 5 tall, but only one store has good jeans that don't look like crap on me-because I can actually fit in them! That store- Kohl's...................

Maybe you should shop at Plus-Sized stores. That's what they're there for. Normal clothing stores carry normal sized clothing. They can't make 20 sizes of clothes because it is a waste of money. They choose a standard set of sizes to make that fit the ideal sized young woman, usually XS-XL anything above belongs in a special department.

what do you mean special department...are you trying to say were special people...I don't think so honey, people who fit into a size 00 are special people if your 17 and can fit into a size 00 then theres something with you...those are the kind of people who belong to a special department its called your local doctor for anna treatment. There should be all sizes everywhere how would it be a waste of money...you think if there was fat people sizes in normal stores fat people would be like ohhh how nice they have our size but were use to searching for clothes sooo yeah lets just go look for clothes for the next 5 hrs instead of buying this piece of clothing which is right infront of my face...wtf? does that make sense i think NOT. no one has a problem making sizes EXTRA SMALL SO WHY DONT WE MAKE THEM EXTRALARGE...and i dont mean the kind of xtralarge that really means medium i mean the extralarge thats gonna fit my extra large ***!

bypass to a mervyns, macy's, or any branch shop and bypass to the baby's section. They acually have wonderful and admired outfits that you would locate in youngster shops. you are able to also bypass to abercrombie
