I got a new iPod and I was just wondering if when you play games while listening to music uses up the battery more.

I disagree with "Chris the dude". Rechargeable batteries should be run down before charging them up. Check here:

yes, it does

dont run the battery down all the way. it is very bad for it and will never charge back up all the way causing the playtime of your ipod to shorten. the only way to replace the battery is to ship your ipod back into apple and they delete all your music...

Yes, it does. On a side note, keeping the backlight on for a long time also drains the battery.

yes it does a lot. i reccoment you dont play games unless youre REALLY bored. escpecially not the music quiz. that drains battery in a second

It does which REALLY sucks. but I do it all the time anyway. It helps to have a fully charged battery because then you dont really have to worry about it.
