He should be allowed to marry whoever he wishes. HOWEVER, after the Princess Diana mess, I think it is obvious the Queen will never let that happen.

Muslim isn't a race, it's a adherent of the Islam religion.
The British public isn't really ruled by the royal family, anyway. They're a figurehead. I think the British public would accept a half black, Chinese, Middle Easterner, etc. prince/princess/king/queen. It would only further to show them as a society accepting of people from all over the world, which I believe them to be.

What a pile of rubbish answers on this. For a start Prince William has to ask the Queen permission to marry under the Royal marriage act of 1772. Now some have said Diana Princess of Wales was pregnant by Dodi. The report inquest into Diana death and I quote "said the late Diana Princess of Wales was not pregnant" even the hospital which Diana was taken to in Paris had blood sample and it was tested. The result was she wasn't pregnant.

Prince William is free to marry who he likes, He just would not become King as the Country would never accept them! He would have to do what his Great Uncle did and Abdicate as soon as he became King in name! It wasn't just the Royal Family who didn't like Wallace Simpson or just because she was divorced! The whole nation were up in arms about it. With all the Racial and Religious hatred in this Country especially among HIS generation, can you really see them changing enough to accept it? I cant!

It's quite difficult to Prince William be married to someone else who doesn't have British roots at least.
Rule says that he may marry some woman from Royalty.

As long as the person who marries a British Monarch is of the Church of England religion, there is nothing in the constitution to prevent the Monarch marrying a person of another race. However, being conscious of the fact that a line of descent follows, I think it un-likely that they would marry a non European.

I think both the public & the royal family would frown uppon it. Although he should be allowed to date and marry who ever he likes. The monarch would be half black because his children would be so.

As long as she is British, I think the commoner British population would accept her. Don't know about the royal family or members of the aristocracy or the media....

Only a Protestant can sit on the throne of England. With any other changes I believe the monarchy would cease to exist.
