That is a very good point because If someone can grant freedom it means they have to power to ungrant it at any time. Particularly if you have a disagreement with them about something else.

Many Republicans believe they have freedom that they deny to others, but that is only because it has not been tested.

If they have been even wrongly accused, all those freedoms they have been so blase' about, suddenly become vital. and if they are gone, then all the howling in the world will not do what you could have done before it was your ox that got gored.

No if you have freedom it can't be deny. Being deny doesn't mean you have it.
