I dated a girl a long time ago when I was 17/18 years old. I'm 41 now. Well, to make a long story short, she may have been pregnant with my child before we parted. I'd like to locate her to find out, if possible. Any ideas on the best way to search would be helpful. Thanks

It's kind of tricky because she has a fairly common last name. Also, we were in the Navy at the time, so we both have travelled afterwards. I appreciate all the thoughtful suggestions so far...

If you're really serious about finding her, hire a private investigator. If you don't want to spend the money, try looking at phone books from the area where you went to high school or see if you know anyone from "the old neighborhood" who might know where she is. The are a lot of search engines on line where you can look up people (like Zabasearch). Good luck in your search.

Go to your public library. Most likely your library has access to Ancestry Plus or other genealogy databases which have current and old information about people including their phone numbers, addresses, spouse's name, children's names, birthdates, etc....It has information that you cannot get just by doing an Internet search, most likely. If the library does not have that database, they will be able to point you in the right direction to find the information. Ancestry Plus is free to use at the library.

Go to adopteeconnect.com it is a free service where you can post your story about her. Plus there are other services on this site that does cost some money but they are really good at finding long lost loves.Good Luck!!

oh, wow. i'd say to try going back to the town where ya'll met. try looking around and see if you can locate anyone who knows her. good luck. hopefully if she was pregnant, you can get back in your child's life. i hope so for your sake and the child's.

try calling the last number that u have for her.. or try locating her parents. and get her current contact info from them.
