Has anyone had leep or cyrosurgery done? What are the pros and cons of each? Is one statistically more sucessful? How painful is cyrosurgery?

they ar both pretty painful, you shouldnt be the one deciding on which procedure you dr decides which one will get everything completely. its not a fun thing at all, be sure you take lots o pain meds before goin in... good luck!

I had a LEEP procedure and then had to have a fractural D&C. The LEEP wasn't too bad, but when I had the D&C I was out for a little while recovering. I am not sure about cryosurgery, but it is probably less painful than having places cut out with a scalpel. I think either way you go the procedure will be successful at fixing the problem. I had a leep done a couple years ago..it took care of the problem and ever since everything has been fine..as far as dicomfort goes...it is very quick they numb the area first

Had cryosurgery to remove potentially cancerous lesions on my skin. Its a painless procedure that leaves a scab that lasts for several days. The scarring is minimal, just a spot that is slightly lighter than my natural skin (which is very fair). A simple, in-office procedure.

I've had both. Both have the same results with minimal pain. You don't even have to take the day off from work. :)
