I'm undecided as to which name I like more. What do you guys think?

Natalia (origin = latin, meaning = Christmas day)
or
Adia (origin = african, meaning = being a gift)

I'm not sure I like the meaning of the first name if it doesn't apply to the child, but should it matter? They both sound very pretty.

I love the name Natalia. I don't think she needs to be born around Christmas to use that name.

How 'bout Natalia Rose?

I agree Adia has a more versatile meaning, but I still like the sound of Natalia better.

I like them both. I never knew Natalia meant Christmas day and I've met a couple of Natalias. They weren't born on Christmas. Meanings don't matter to most people or there wouldn't be so many girl Madisons - son of Maud!?! I like Natalia better than Adia but have you thought of Nadia? I love that one too. It is Italian and means hope.

They're both cute. I like Natalia better, I love the name Natalie and I think it has many more middle names that go with it. It also won't get misspelled as Adia might (I'm 14 and in school I get my name misspelled all the time but it's not bad, you get used to it) although I do like the nickname Addy which would could call Adia.

I love the name Natalia! It's beautiful. I think as long as the meaning isn't something awful, then why should it matter if it applies to the child?

I like Natalia for a girl. I think the name is perfect
because it ties in with the rising Hispanic culture
awareness that is happening in the US.

I like Natalia. Adia reminds me too much of Aida. Besides, Natalia is richer and way more attractive.

I like Natalia alot. It's very beautiful, and the meaning shouldn't matter too much. If you like it, then go for it!
