You are so right!!! Martin Luther King Jr is the only black man ever to get his own holiday. Black people have a whole month set aside for black history month. certain people(hint) do not see the importance in that and the major impact it played on society. The world would be a whole lot worse off even though its still not as equal as it should be. Children overhear things and tend to repeat things that were said by adults around them and act the way they were raised. Other nationalities do not stress the importance of this holiday to their kids and they should know about it. People will make rude jokes and comments about what they dont know. Some people are just proof that ignorance is genetically handed down. My attitude is fucum all!

Well, apparently he was a womanizer and beat some women and misused donations. That's only what I've heard. I have not read it myself. The same type of thing happens to all people in the public eye......Mel Gibson, Bill Clinton, Russell Crowe, Woody Allen......etc. All public figures are disliked by someone or another and those "haters" like to dig up the unmentioned things. I don't necesarily agree with it, but it is reality. MLK was obviously a great man. Don't sweat what the idiots say.

You know what he was about more than anything? The right to speak out against what you dont believe in. So those that are dissing him are actually honoring him, they have that right. He died for rights. Sacrificed himself so others can have a voice. So dont complain about people dissing Dr King, embrace it, its their right.
