Candy, flower and other gifts are so common and normal.
Why not try this.
Put in your best to cook a meal for him/her.
Anything as long as you do it yourself.
With a romantic candle light deco and music.
And finish off with a slow dance.
Imagine yourself, whats the result will be.

Something from the heart that shows you care and that shows that you pay attention to what he/she says and thinks. Doesn't have to be big.. just a little something is fine. My boyfriend picks up on little things that I say and determines gifts for me that way. I've never been disappointed!! 8-)

Candy and flowers are the norm. But, my favorite gifts have been things that he knew I'd love and that I could keep around me for a long, long time. My favorite V-Day gifts were a set of paintings that he had a friend paint for me for our livingroom.

I think you have to give flowers and candy ,because it's expected. But try something thoughtful on top of it. Maybe ballroom dancing or something that she would have a chick-flick moment about.

Diamond to the gal and Plasma TV for the guy. Or just get something from the heart and remember that it must be something that he/she wants and not something u wanna give!!!

candies & flowers are so common during V day... maybe plan something unique....
surprise her by like renting a cooking studio to either cook for her yourself or a private chef to prepare a special menu for you.
a friend of mine did that.... she went for a massage nearby while he cooked for her supervised by a chef next door.... the place was done up so nicely....
this was in SG....

That will depend on who will be the recipients. If the recipient is a lady, you may want to use flower, cosmetic, skincare to impress her.
If the recipient is a guy, you may want to use cologne, bathing products, watches to impress him.

if you're together e.g.10 days/months/years, get ten little presents, like one rose, a cd, a mini box of chocolates, etc... and put them all in a little basket.
