There are some great songs (solo, duet, trio, etc) from The Secret Garden musical.

Many songs are hauntingly beautiful and I find they are all moving. There are various lengths and emotional ranges, though most are loss, regret, and such. The ones that immediately come to mind are "I heard someone crying", "Where in the world", and "How could I ever know".

If you go to the Amazon link you can hear samples of the songs. Some CD/book stores will let you listen to full songs or albums.

This is a unique way to go with lyrical or ballet pieces.

Hinder's "Lips of an Angel," or Rascall Flatt's "What Hurts the Most"
or the song that goes "take your records, take your freedom, take your memories i don't need 'em..." "Addicted," by Kelly Clarkson, ummmm... really anything by Kelly, she has a lot of angry boy songs lol.

hope this helps and break a leg!!!

christina aguilera's "hurt" its sad and has a nice melody. its about regret AND separation, but maybe you should say what type of music b/c this is a slow, dramatic song.
