How many days is there usually between periods from last day to next period?

My last day of my last period was 21 days ago. I can't figure out if I am close or if I'm late. My husband and I have been trying for our 3rd baby. Is it too soon to take a test?

The average is 28 days. But it ranges normally anywhere from 21-35 days. I would wait for at least exactly one month from the first day of your last period before taking a test. Good Luck!
