For cost and usefulness, I would suggest silver or clear/silver.
This way they can use the shoes again with another dress or occasion.
If you get some shoes dyed to match, make sure they don't put the waterproofing on them, that way they can go and get the shoes re-dyed to black afterwards, everybody needs black shoes right?
If they don't have waterproofing on the shoes, they must not get them wet, or the shoes will be ruined.

You can match the color of the shoes with the color of the flowers and accessories/hair piece. For example, if the accessories/hair piece are silver then the shoes can be silver as well. Just don't go crazy in the process.
Also, keep in mind the time of the wedding. If it is a morning/noon wedding you can use white, cream or silver strappy shoes...if it is at night, then only silver will do unless you find shoes that match the color of the fabric of the bridesmaid's dresses and the shoes should be closed shoes. Good luck on your wedding!!!
I know how tedious wedding planning can be, but it is a lot of fun!!!!

I don't really think that will be much of a gift, because I doubt that they will be able to use coral colored dress shoes again. Instead, I would suggest matching bracelets or earrings to wear to the wedding. The bridesmaids are supposed to pay for their own dresses and shoes anyway. If you must get shoes, I would recommend getting shoes that will match with other clothes, that they can use in the future.

Stay away from heavy, clunky looking shoes. Strappy shoes are very in right now. But you have to view your choices with the time of day, and month the wedding is in.
Good luck.

I'd go with silver. But I would not want to recieve that as a gift at the reception, it might be more appropriate to give them their gift at a bridal shower, so they would to go out and purchase their shoes already.

I would go for something with a bronze tone, it's more warm than silver or ivory, and will bring out the undertones in the coral.

Find a store that has white shoes that are dyable, they'll often dye to match the color of your dresses. Best of luck!

Silver. I think that if the bridesmaids all have silver accessories (necklaces, earrings, bangles, etc.) then the shoes should be silver too, right?
