When you play country music backwards, your pick-up starts again, your dog comes back to life & you get your baby back.
On the other hand, when you play New Age music backwards, you get New Age music. Go figure.

how we used to do it oldschool style:
many, many years ago when cassette tapes were all the rage. we used to take a cassette apart, flip one end of the tape, rewind (or fast forward) to the other end of the tape, flip that side.... and viola!
both sides of the tape were playing backwards.
we did it with LED ZEPPELIN IV to hear the 'satanic' messages.
i also did it with a few Prince albums; did you know a few of his tunes have the word "jesus" backmasked in them?

you might try sound recorder (it comes in windows, in accessories)
