i found a website that costs money but is there any where safe and free?

Hey, I would say as someone else did www.thesims2.ea.com ModtheSims2 is a amazing site with free downloads on it but I find it really confusing as sometimes the mesh you need isn't included and there is a link to get it and then you get in a right muddle trying to work out what mesh to click on!
I find that the Sims 2 website is great! all my sims come from there and you get the whole package there rather then maybe just hair e.t.c on modtheSims.
After registering (For free) Go on exchange at the top of the screen then to sims.
Then on the next screen In the keyword box type mesh, Then go...Then you will find that in the description it will sometimes say "MESH FREE" or "NO MESH NEEDED" or "MESH INCLUDED"
This means that If you download that Sims all the stuff should work like hair, glasses e.t.c.
This is what I do as then you know that you wont download the Sim and find the hair doesn't show or a certain dress as the mesh wasn't with it!
I do not understand mesh but after lots of trying I did find this site to be the best! Please see my movies under www.youtube/user/kaytee576 and there you can see the kinda Sims you can get on this site! good luck love and hugs me xxx

there are many websites but the safest would be www.sims2.com it works for me. and its all free.
