my absolute favorite running shoes are by brooks. New Balance and Saucony are too narrow for my curved kidney bean feet. There is an outlet nearby the SF bay area and I have bought shoes for as little as 35 - 40. they last forever and are way better than any nike shoe I had in high school for gym clas.
