Humm well stand in front of it offer it a beer and have a long talk with it.Think back how many times you spun the tires and raced up and down the road. Did you ever think it might be getting tired.. Now then if it smokes,or rattles when you start it then it may be getting ready to make you walk .Otherwise its probley still good for a few miles.Pull the breather cap off after engine is good and hot if you see an excessive amount of smoke blowing from the engine its starting to get wear in the engine.Keep oil change regular and baby it it should last a good long while. You could have an experienced mechanic listen to it perform a compression check on it and that would give you a excellent indication on motor life

Well depending on what kind of noises your engine is making. It could last from 30 minutes from now to a couple of years or longer. I have a slight tapping sound coming from my engine in a 94 chevy p/u and have been driving this vehicle this way for about 2yrs. . But also it depends on how you drive said vehicle as to how it will last. Also had a 77 Ford Grenada, had an accident set up up for about 2 months until I got new parts and put it back together. After I got put back together it lasted about 2-3 weeks . Slung a rod through the oil pan(lol), because the oil pump went out while it sat up for a couple of moths. Other than that there's really no way of saying when it will go boom. Even had an 81 chevy p/u, changed the valve cover gaskets, leaked oil a good bit and even ran out of oil a few times. Still kept going even after that up until I got hit head on by a 70 something ford car. Ending up selling it to a junkyard for $600 because he wanted the cab for a truck he had + I had the tittle for it. I hope this has helped in someway to answer your question eventhough you didn't give anything other tha it to blow up.

when you see the little green following you and peeking in your windows the next thing that happens is your truck blows up. beware of little green men that make clucking sounds like chickens. hope your fridge is locked up, they often hide in those big nice ones. cluck cluck!
