rather than that Disney travesty, and produce a series for children, each one lasting 5 minutes and following the original stories, who would you have as the voices? I read these to my kids and use/mimic the following:
Pooh - Jim Broadbent
Piglet - a falsetto Tony Robinson
Rabbit - Paul O'Grady
Kanga - Joyce Grenfell (Maureen Lipman does a great impression)
Eeyore - Stephen Moore as Marvin the Paranoid Android (or Timothy Spall doing his Brummie accent as another suggestion)
Tigger - the excited dog from the Sky adverts
Roo - I would cast my daughter personally
Christopher Robin - quite BBC/received pronunciation and falsetto of course.

Who else would you suggest?

Aww, what a lovely idea. I loathe and detest the Disney version - "travesty" is the right word.

I think your choices are pretty spot-on, though I wouldn't be so keen on Paul O'Grady. I used to have a fabulous tape of Norman Shelley reading the stories - he had wonderful voices, much better than the Martin Jarvis ones. Anyway, his Rabbit was very brisk and businesslike - you could imagine him with a clipboard and a pen, poised to write notes. I can't think of a person who's voice would work for that, although I'm sure there are loads. Maybe Stephen Fry?

Actually, I'd like Paul Merton to be in there somewhere... could he be a Pooh?

Kathy Burke as Piglet

Miriam Margoyles as Kanga
Kylie Minogue as Roo
Ewan McGregor as Rabbit
Alan Rickman as Eeyore
Ricky Gervais as Christopher Robin
Rik Mayall as Tigger

I quite like the Disney "travesty" I must admit. Just got myself a really awesome Heffalump from the Travesty Shop sale...

I have no idea, but you're right- a travesty! I heard a few months ago they were getting rid of Christopher Robin, and replacing him with a girl (I think called Robin). Its a shame that little boys are no longer allowed to love stuffed animals in America. Disney is nothing but a crap factory.
