I think she was better off with 'Destiny's Child'. Sure I think she has some good songs but sometimes I think people exaggerate on how good her voice is and how "beautiful" she is.
I think shes pretty and has somewhat of a good voice but I still think shes not that big of a deal.

She can sing well, but she is overrated.
And I strongly agree that she was better of with Destiny's Child.
Seems to me like Beyonce only left the group to become an attention whore.

Beyonce overated! her music definately, doesn't use her voice to half its potential, after this last album i'm starting to put her in the ranks of Ashanti, just a hit maker, no album with no real subject matter..., but it is real subject matter, its just the same recycled DC/DIL ablums, which shows no growth as an artist, she did record b day in 2 weeks which is something i wouldn't brag about, that along told me not to buy it, That LP would've sounded much better if she spent more time on it. For the next album she needs to "upgrade" the lyrics and her vocals.

She deserves her publicity, but BDay might have ruined it for her, so i'll have to agree with you at this point shes overrated cuz of no effort on BDay.

No. She's not overrated at all. I'm female so her being 'beautiful' has nothing to do with it, but I think she has a very powerful voice. And, personally, I like her much better since she left Destiny's Child....I've yet to hear a song by her that I didn't like.

She does have a pretty strong voice, but anyone with that much attention from the media is overrated...or rather there are so many people with the same talent that are underrated.

No, I think she is extremely talented and a true artist. Better than the rest of those wannabees out there.
I think shes gorgeous inside and out, and the kind of person I would hang out with in real life
She can sing live, she can dance, and she writes her songs
and boy can she take a damn good picture

I think she's a very beautiful talented young women who seems to have her head on straight.
That's much more than I can say about Brittany, Lindsay, Paris, Nicole, etc.
So....no I don't think Beyonce is overrated.

Sorry, I am NOT a Beyonce fan, never was and never will be, she is just too stuck on herself for me. Down to earth is better.

i think most female singers are overrated. you never know how good of singers they are until you hear them live. which you most likely never will because a lot of them lip sync. i think beyonce is highly overrated. she is not that good of an actress and her vocals are ok. she can't sing live at all. most singers are only singers because they are marketable and who they know. it's rarely ever about talent anymore which is sad.
