She collided with my car in the driveway, I'd be stupid to file a police report, right? Our insurance would go up for sure.

if she did it on purpose you probably need to file a police report you don't need to take it through your insurance for payment, but you need to have this act of violence on record for future in case there are other acts of violence

Well, if you want the insurance to pay for the repair of the vehicles, then you will have to file a report with the insurance company.

They may state that you need to file a police report, but that is different between states, so ask to be sure.

I do not know of a state that requires a police report to be filed over an accident on private property, so if you do not want the insurance company to pay for the repairs, then you wouldnt have to file a police report at all.

Was it an accident or did she do it on purpose? If the damage is minor and you can afford to pay for the repairs on your own then you shouldn't file a report. If it's major damage, then file the report and turn it in to your insurance. Did some animal run in front of her to make her do that? I'm sure insurance companies have heard just about everything.

File a police report, because she sounds like the type of woman who would call the police on you if the tables were turned. At least this way she will be on record as a violent person.

I would ask the question was it intentual. If so yes i would file something. if it was purely an accident dont claim it just deal with it. pay for it once to get it fixed. if you claim it youll be paying on your insurance for how long. and on top of that it was done on private property how does that work with the insurance companies. in you own driveway. sorry i could not of been of more help.

Don't call the police. Once the court gets involved in your life, they never stop. The fines the fees, the insurance. Don't do it man.

Was she on one? For a women to do something like this it's because she has a good reason. It's hard to think she just would do it out of the blue. But then again I don't her. You know her. Did she have a reason? If you did something wrong take it like a man.And if your going to stay in more in likely you are don't do anything. Just get it fix.

Oh expensive..............Oh expensive ! The question is how is the valuable now? exchange into he killed, injured or what? Or, is you question on the subject remember of an coverage declare ? no remember if that's, then it can be a reliable theory to grant a checklist to the law enforcement officials. Their checklist would desire to be documentary information at a later degree.

Talk to her about it first!! For all we know, it could've been a bad accident, she could've had a bad day and wasn't paying attention, etc. Communication is important. Learn to talk to her about things... not quickly going off to the police and have her arrested...

leave the police alone, and insurance will take care of it, and deal with your wife later in the bedroom and not to scold her so much, just forgive her, and let her show you how much she really sorry.
you don't want the police and gov't involve, just leave that alone!
