I just saw part of an old All in the Family openly discussing (with comedy) societal issues and for an old show it was so refreshing. Of course Archie is a bigot and that was the joke, it made me so sad for how uptight things are getting. I am getting so tired of goody goody politically correct bull. Don't you think it's better to deal with reality than just not talk about it? We still have plenty of bigots floating around and political correctness has probably made it worse not bettter. Now we have the saints and the sinners as oposed to the humans.

Yes, I am sick of it. Short is short and fat is fat. I don't refer to myself as English-American or WASP-American, just American. The black (that's what they called themselves, get over it) guys, hispanic(of Mexican or Puerto-Rican descent), and Samoan guys that I served with in the Army were all American soldiers. They all ran, fought, bled, and bitched with me without regard for color or creed. We did have our differences, but at the end of the day, we were all the same. We complained about the same things, ate the same crummy food, and slept on the same ground, all while defending the rights of all of you who complain about how bad America is. At least the illegal aliens want to be here....Why don't some of you PC whiners step up and DO something for a change? I did.

it type of feels to face up in the call of attempting no longer to offend all and sundry. It also appears frequently a paranoia of all North us of a ordinarily,land of the loose.? it is going to exist see you later as we tolerate it,and play alongside. I say we offend everybody as equals by skill of the board and quit with the fake people pleasing

Nothing that keeps you from speaking an important truth is good. PC doesn't always get in the way of that, but sometimes it does .
