I mean like MVP dresses like a Bud Light beer can, Undertaker had a Leotard, Mick Foley wears a shirt when he wrestles, do you think it will hurt less to get a Chokeslam if their back is sorta "protected"?

chokeslam is just an example
scoop slam, powerbomb, etc.

I know for a fact that a shirt or any other type of top is not going to cushion any impact moves like slams, or suplexes but it may relieve some of the pain from those chops that Nature Boy and Big Show like to dish out.

Hahaha Bud Light beer can. MVP had protected lining in the inferno match he wrestled with Kane. I think Mick Foley wears protective gear in his hardcore matches but i wouldn't be surprised if he didn't. And I don't know about your chokeslam question. If they have padding i guess??

I doubt it, think about it if you are dropped to the mat with a body slam then a thin layer of cloth isn't going to make much difference. Shirts, even T-Shirts will protect against sharp cutting weapons like finger nails, but even that protection is minor.

As for the choke slam, aren't your foe's arms around your neck? That isn't protected at all.

All of the injuries will be the same with a shirt or without a shirt. The injuries will still happen regardless

No. A chokeslam is a chokeslam, maybe those guys have birth marks, tatttos or just don't want to shave so they try to hide it. Or they don't want to show off their man boobs.

since it is a layer it can protect them from mat burn and make the chops hurt less

Doubtful....as far as falls go....however, I bet it lowers the likelihood of things like scratches and rope burns.
