As a reverent agnostic I have little use for religion and dogma but that does not preclude me from feeling connected to my roots in Lutheran regalia. I still enjoy the hymns and messages. I just don't follow the dogma as tightly a good Lutheran will.

I do believe in a God, and find connection with things spiritual but I find them outside the guise of religion.

I like what George Burns said in the movie O' God. "I wished I'd not invented trousers, so people wouldn't have pockets to pick. "

Religion is not always spiritual in nature. Sensing the presence of a loving caring creator does not require a book or a building.

Agnosticism doesn't rule out being moved by the passion of others' beliefs, or the beauty with which religious stories can be told and songs of worship sung. If one were to say that an agnostic couldn't appreciate or be moved by the recitation of a religious text, it would be like saying that one couldn't appreciate romantic-era poetry because you didn't share the guiding philosophy that produced it, for example.

Maybe sympathy, maybe you are moved by others' emotions. Just because you don't believe in it doesn't mean it doesn't mean something to someone else and it doesn't mean that you won't feel anything. I don't believe that what happens in movies is true, but I still cry during sad movies and get scared during scary ones.

Just because you're agnostic doesn't mean that you can't appreciate the Qur'an for being a literary work. You might even find parts of other religious texts that you enjoy, merely for the literary being of it.

Because you can feel the history of souls that went into the compilation of it, and the souls that have come and gone in the practice of it. Just because you don't have faith doesn't mean you don't have feelings.
