You do not need help. I am a published poet. I had been invited to share my poetry with international poets many times in Washington, D.C. I've achieved many goals in life. Guess what? I never knew about Barbie until age twelve. I played with it at your age It was a partner for my GI Joe. As one that had collected for over twenty years, dolls and toys are still fun. Toys are only fantasy. If you handle the responsibilities of life, that is true maturity. This activity is not a problem. If you can keep in your mind the difference between the fantasy associated with toys and the reality of the real world around you, this can be quite a pleasant hobby. Since we will never meet nor will I seek your personal data like phone number or address, I can honestly speak. There are female collectors in their adult years who create play sets to display their dolls for friends, family, and guests in their homes. Enjoy it in private if you are concerned about what others might think. Your having fun that harms nobody. The fact is people who want to deny their kids such fun with the excuse of being too old are not using common sense. "Toy Story" was made by a studeo where adults were encouraged to play with toys. I wonder how many of their friends or family criticized them for working there for thousands of dollars? That is called using their imagination. You are doing the same thing except not for a job. How people see things differently when money is envolved. You could play with them and not be made to feel bad because the studeo was paying . By Ruth Handler having seen her daughter and her friend playing with paper dolls, the idea for a three demintional doll had been thought of. That activity of doll play resulted in her creating Barbie.

Just because the other kids are in such a big hurry to grow up and act in a manner they consider "grown" doesn't mean you have to.
Do your own thing and when the peer pressure hits to do other things like drinking, drugs, sex, etc comes along you'll already have experience at JUST BEING YOU!
Enjoy your childhood, it lasts a short time! You'll look back one of these days and wish you had.
I played with dolls while I was in highschool. I loved combing and cutting their hair lol. Now that I'm a mom to a little girl, I still enjoy dolls and even looking at the toys...guess how old I am...30

Im 24 years old with a cabbage patch doll collection and a big head barbie. I have my cabbage patch dolls on my bed and i toss and put them back up their neatly every morning I make my bed. I use my big head barbie to practice doing corn rows and braids. It beats paying 200 for a head at a beauty shop. Girl you are 12 years old and full of youth. Keep playing with those dolls and keep your mind off them lil boys with cooties. They will get you in trouble. When I have children im going to play dolls with my little girl. You can never be to old.

When I was 14 my family thought I was too old to still want a doll for Christmas. Now that I'm 50 I know I'll never be too old! Play for as long as you want!

Sure.. If u enjoy it i am 12 and like messing around with baby toys all the lights and sounds lol. Doesn't mean anything. It might mean you are more creative and have a bigger imagination. I am in a gifted program so it doesn't make you dumb or weird.
