They say that the years just after your youngest leaves the nest are as sweet as the honeymoon, but the year your oldest turns 14 is the toughest in the marriage.
Its never going to be the same because now you have contenders for time, energy, and affection, and that hunger in the children never decreases until they are out of the house and the hunger transitions from your relationship to your checkbook.
Its not going to be the same for a while. There may be a little bit of what it was like before, but you are going to have to fight harder and harder for less and less for the next 18 years. After the 18 years is over the libido kicks in very powerfully. :)
Like master DA said, sometimes it goes away and doesnt come back ending in divorce. I also have friends that didnt expect it to come back after the 18 years, when it did there were serious affairs that led to divorce. Knowing whats coming down the pipe is important to being able to have a marriage that survives that period in life.

You have to put it in your mind, that you desire sex, think about it,and go for it. The more you focus that you want it, your libido will increase, stay away from all the white bread, enriched bleach flour, eat dark chocolate, veggies, and protein, and green teas, to destress your self. usually you have to wait 6 weeks, in clear, after the baby's birth, but put it in your mind that you are more than ever before.

It really depends on how things went during the birth. With my 2nd child I was ready in 2weeks. It will depend how fast you are feeling better, the amount of stitches you had, if any and so on. I think it is a pretty individual thing.

It is different for each woman. I was married to someone that after the second child she totally lost interest in sex. None. Doc advised therapy and drugs, she said no, ended in divorse.
The girl I am with now had a child (not mine, exBF split) last summer and she was tempting me a month after the birth.
So it different for everyone.

Hump a fat dildo a week after giving birth. That will keep you nice and sloppy.
