Which games console do you think is better and why?

I still prefer Playstation !!!

it really is a toss up between PS2 and XBOX. I would go with the XBOX because Xbox live is about 1.3 billion times better than PS online. And let's face it, online gaming is what it's all about.
Between the XBOX 360 and the PS3, there is not even a debate to be had. 360 Is way better.
1) It came out a year before the PS3
2) It has better games with better graphics
(PS3 fans are constantly saying that the PS3 is only using a fraction of it's potential and if we just wait we will see amazing games on the PS3. Even if that was true, WHY WAIT? While PS3 enthusists are waiting, I'll be gaming! For over a year with the best there is)
3) it's cheaper
4) XBOX live
5) Not forced to buy a high def player. You have the choice to get the HD DVD player with the xbox. So if you don't have an HDTV you don't have to fork out the extra dough for something you cant take advantage of. (I'm not gonna argue which HD Format is the best that's a whole new question.)
6) Compatibility with Windows Media Center
PS3 is over priced and year late. Make the smart choice and buy an XBOX 360. But if you have kids and you can get a hold of one, buy a Nintendo Wii.

Xbox 360 definately,
Both consoles have similar capabilities in terms of hardware, but I think that the Xbox 360 has better reliability due to reliance on DVD drive over the PLaystation Blu-ray drive which has reliability issues.
Lets face it, the major games studis are releasing games on both platforms to maximise revenue due to the cost of game developement these days. So the consoles really have very little to choose between.

I thought the Xbox because it had better games to me. It was more fun, and not just for games like Halo, or things it soley owns. Also, I hope you mean Playstation 2, because the Playstation is in the N64 era, where Xbox is much better than a regular Playstation, for graphics, and gameplay. Xbox live is also much better than Playstation online, and Xbox has more interactive features.

Playstation has waaaaaaay better games, Xbox scratches the discs, Timesplitters is much better than Halo, you can play ps1 games on a ps2.
So I'd say Playstation :D

BF has Xbox 360 as the Playstation was taking too long....
But don't get any - spend your time with your girlfriend instead!!

PS, why It's what I am acustom to, however get the one with the games you like. Each console have certain games that work on them and some don't. So get the console that works for the games you like!

Playstation was, and still is a great gaming console.I will rank it better than Xbox just because of its classic games like Gran turismo,Driver, Silent hill,Metal gear solid and many others.
