a fluval filter that would work for up to 75 gallons will be PLENTY.

Also check on the Eheim Echo filter. I have this on my 45 gallon hex tank, it does an exceptional job, and is SUPER EASY to operate, change and generally maintain! You can get this one through Petsmart.

I have a 55 gallon tank, simular in size as your tank( a foot thinner) and I use the fluval 4 inturnal filter in my tank. I LOVE it! I will never go back to the fluval canister filters (I had a 405 in my tank before). The inturnal filters are quite, they are easier to clean then the canister ones(I must have flooded my house a dozen times trying to get the seal right!!!)

I would say the Hagen Fluval 405 is the only rated for your size of tank. Your tank is 90 gallons, since it is rated at 100, you should be alright with that. The 305 is only rated for 70 gallons so would seem to be a bit on the light side for a tank as large as yours.

actually its is 339.802159 liters

89.7662334 US gallons

I have never used a fluval filter so I don't know, I just thought I would put the correct numbers up so you get the right answer.

Fluval 3+ internal will be adequate.

the fluval 405 thou always get the next fliter up, its better to have bigger fliter than u need rather than smaller one, it makes sure the water is prefectly clear and pumps it slightly faster,

In my experience Eheim filters are much better.

They are usually rated in capacity in US gallons (not Imperial)...
get one fit for not less than 80 gallons US...

i'd go with one that has a bit extra compared to the minimium necessary.

perhaps the 305.
