There will be no schools open and if they are I would not even attempt to go. My son had to be cut out of his car yesterday early morning. If it weren't for those trees, he would've fell in a freezing creek and possibly died. It's not worth it. I thank God for whoever planted those trees and I am thankful to God for directing my son to them because even though they used the jaws of life to get him out -he is home with me now with only a fractured shoulder. Stay at home and chill Central Texans.

Very good chance. They won't run the buses on ice. That's what always determines whether schools close or not... can the buses run. I'm in Houston, and it looks like they will close... although the sand trucks are out and will be all night. Take care and stay warm.
