Holland is a region of the Netherlands, It is like saying everyone from Britain is English

For the same reason that Polish people aren't called Polles, it's about the appropriateness of the spelling. I know where I'd rather go for my Holls though!

They call it Netherlands, pronounced Nahy-derlands, when I was there last, some heve never heard of Holland and they live there figure that.
