No, he is not dead, he is the lead singer in a band called the Flaming Lips.

No; he walked away so he wouldn't go bald on the show; now he's a touring musician. In the show, he went off to college, showing that he at least left gracefully. The video has the full story. BTW, search for questions above, and you'll see the other times this same question has been asked here.

he was on tv not to long ago saying he was acting as a teenager on the show and since he was going bald did not want to bald on tv.. omg hes so not dead

He's not dead. He was fired from the show because they found out he was doing drugs before they started filming. Who knows where he is now!
