10 4/5 divided 9/10

Here's what my teacher told me to remember:

L : Leave the first fraction like that (if it is a proper fraction)
C : Change the division sign to multiplication
F : Flip the other fraction and do the multiplication

Here is yours:

KEY: ^ = division

(10 4/5) ( turn that into improper fraction) 54/5 ^ 9/10

L : 54/5
C: ^ to *
F: 10/9

Now your problem looks like:

54/5 * 10/9

so. Cross multiply and you get : 10!

10!!

May,

You really have to use this forum as a learning time. I mean learning MATH yourself. This is the 6th mixed fraction division problem in less than an hour. Are you doing any of your math yourself?

It's kinda like shooting yourself in your foot. It ends up being pointless and painful. Grow up, dear, or you will find life very, very difficult!
