That's the same as 1/9 times 3/2.

When you multiply fractions, you multiply the top numbers together, and the bottom numbers together. So the answer would be

(1 times 3)/(9 times 2) = 3/18

Your teacher may want you to simplify that fraction to 1/6.

To divide with information from a fragment, you're really multiplying with information from it is reciprocal. So somewhat of dividing 6 with information from 2/3, multiply 6 with information from 3/2. you ultimately end up with 18/2. Which reduces to 9. So your calculator is real.

1/9 divided 2/3

Here's what my teacher told me to remember:

L : Leave the first fraction like that (if it is a proper fraction)
C : Change the division sign to multiplication
F : Flip the other fraction and do the multiplication

Here is yours:

KEY: ^ = division

1/9 ^ 2/3

L : 1/9
C: ^ to *
F: 3/2

Now your problem looks like:

1/9 * 3/2

so. Cross multiply and you get : 1/6!

1/6!!
